Φαίνεται αμέσως

ποιοι απ` αυτούς

το θεωρούν σα ζήτημα τιμής

να είναι ενημερωμένοι·

για όλα.

Για όλα τα φαινόμενα,

για ζώα, για φυτά

και μαθηματικά,

πολιτική, αθλητικά

και προπαντός βιβλία.

Α, βέβαια!

για συγγραφείς, ηθοποιούς και σκηνοθέτες

μη παραλείποντας

και για τα πιο κρυμμένα τα ερωτικά τους να γνωρίζουν.

Η ενημέρωση αυτοσκοπός!

Κάθε φορά,

λοιπόν,

που βρίσκομαι σε έναν τέτοιο κύκλο,

η πολυμάθεια

αυτών των σπουδαστών - των σπουδαγμένων

με οδηγεί στη σκέψη:

Με τόσα που γεμίσαν το κεφάλι τους,
